Training in the safe use of LPG

Here at Easigas we take safety seriously. Training is provided by a dedicated safety officer at all levels. A majority of the training courses, revolve around the safe use of LPG.

Throughout the country, Easigas performs training for various fire departments. This involves showing the fire fighters how to handle a LPG leak, fire or any other incident that may occur. Training includes flame bending (diverting the flame to enable fire fighters to access the point of leakage and close off the supply).

Training is provided by a dedicated Easigas Safety Officer who trains LPG users to maintain a high safety record. Reginald is involved in the training of all Easigas customers and in particular customers involved in the refilling of LPG from one vessel to another.

The LPG Safety Association of South Africa holds numerous training courses throughout the year. These courses include a Domestic Installers Course, Commercial Installers Course, Industrial Installers Course and an Autogas Installers Course. These courses ensure that all gas installations in South Africa can be carried out by qualified gas fitters. This means that installations involving LPG are installed to the highest possible standards set out in SABS codes.
